I am a change, I hate my existence.

From a shift in your sleeping posture to waking up with a new office address. From a new hair cut to missing out your special human that always commented on it. From your inaugural gym session to your deflated self. From always denying a human’s existence to leveraging his/er advice on your important days. From joking out of his/er dumbness to being jealous of his/er intellect. From fussing over a human deed to actually imbibing it in your own lives.

At every moment, we all perceive our worlds in a certain way but on the contrary, when you look at it with a macro view, you’d see how your perception deviates along a certain timeline. And this falls true for everything that we interact with on planet earth. Just that the time frame in this change of perception differs in all that we face! Pick out something that you love, there was a point you could live without it or there will be a point you’d ignore it.

For instance, you have a sweet tooth, you’re diagnosed with Diabetes, Bye Bye sweetness!

For instance, you hate waking up early, you found a fitness routine, Welcome #FitYou!

For instance, you like cricket, you watched a match of football, now you like both of them!

For instance, you dislike rom-com films, one that touched your heart, now that’s all you watch!

The above scenarios are pretty generic. But think about the bigger changes that you’ve witnessed in your lives. You like/dislike something and it goes bang opposite the next day!

Does it affect you? Hell yeah!

Does it affect you in a positive or negative way? Well, keep reading!

Change is inevitable (the world’s favourite phrase when discussing life philosophies), but when this change hits us, we all collide with the world of emotions. From ambiguity to happiness, from anxiety to excitement. But what matters the most is how you adhere to this change?

A change can be proactive or mandated on you. The conversation is not for the proactive ones, it’s for the one that’s thrown at you. It demands you to change the way you thrive. It might post a 180-degree shift in your lifestyle, your personal self. But the one that drives this shift in a positive and only positive way are called celebrities and influencers in our worlds.

Why? Because they championed the moment of change.

Think about it, an act of change deprives you of that very act’s earlier edition, in that very moment. And in this very moment of change, the ball’s in our court to react. There are thousands of ways to react to it. There are few ways to dissolve in it. But, there is only one way to champion it — Acceptance.

Acceptance. Forget the philosophies and depth of this word for a moment. When I say acceptance, a positive change is easy to accept but it does not mean accepting a negative change the way it is! Nope! Acceptance here is finding the positives that you could incorporate in this negative change. Sounds heavy? It might be. But if you pick out the most negative changes in your lives, you’d see how sooner or later you adopted it and drove positive energies within the same. And if you, at this very moment of change, addressed the positives, you’ve found the most meaningful way of life. It is the speed with which you adopt this change in a positive way that drives you to be an indispensable character.

And let me tell you, the above dose of #Gyaan is not at all easy to practice! I’ve been experimenting and trying to adhere to these moments. It is extremely challenging to be in that situation and leverage it your way. But I am learning it the hard way, when I accepted a change, I realised how I could do it much earlier than I actually accepted it. It’s all in our head, the right, the wrong, the way we wish to perceive anything around us. It’s all about channelising these very moments, in many cases, that would be the turning points of living a successful life.

After all, I am a change and I do not wish to hate my existence.
